BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Jun 30, 2010 The item listed was not the one sent to me. Two Peg Perego batteries were listed as available. They only carried the one 6 volt battery and it wasn't the one shown. The one I thought I was purchasing was twice the price than the smaller peg perego battery sent- both 6 volt. So I was overcharged and lost the shipping fees I paid(non refundable) Clearly you don't always get what they show. By the way Tiger Import also shows this Peg Perego battery as available and as I added it to my cart there was a prompt to view the item...turns out to be another peg perego battery not as originally shown. Please double check if you can before you click proceed with purchase. Amazon.com has quickly responded to my concerns however has not be able to help. They advise to deal with the sender directly. Expensive lesson learned.

make sure this is for your toy May 17, 2004 Apparently Peg Perego has many different 6 volt batterys for there ride on toys. I purchased this on for an older version of the train and it does not fit or have the correct connector. Now in trying to return the wrong battery I can get no assistance from Amazon.com. No one will answer my e-mails and there is no phone # listed anywhere to call customer service. Make sure this is the correct battery for the toy you have before purchasing it.

Battery confusion May 23, 2003 ... Make sure to double check the color, size and voltage of the battery you're replacing or you'll end up eating the shipping cost of something you can't use. Try explaining it to a 4 year old.

Wrong size battery May 02, 2003 Watch out! I was looking for a 6v battery for my Perego Jeep, but this is the wrong size. It was green in the pictures (mine is blue) and I thought it was just a newer version. If your battery is model no. HE6V12.7S10, this is not it.

Hot wheels or Peg Perego? Apr 08, 2003 My son recieved a Peg Perego big wheels for Christmas two years ago. He loved it! Only prob is that Toys R us no longer sells the batteries and the manufacturer wants more than Amazon. Powerwheels is available in the store, this one has to be ordered. Also, the battery did not last very long (maybe 18 mo)
