Bad Zipper Jun 17, 2010 I had this bag attached to my bicycle all year. I use it to stash emergency tools (i.e. spare tube, 10 in 1 tool, flashlight...). The zipper broke after about 6 months of lite use. A bag with a bad zipper is unreliable. Spend the extra $$$ and pass on this item.
Bike seat bag Apr 21, 2010 Nice add on to have. It's well made and has quite a bit of room to pack other stuff you'll need.
Not a Smart BUY Apr 11, 2010 I bought this Bag to house my needed emergency tools if and when a flat would occur while I am on the road.
I have owned the bag for about 5 months and just purchased a new one recently.
Pros:
Lots of storage space
Seat Post grip seems to hold very well.
Cons:
Is not water resistant
Attachments to the seat are weak and do not hold up. I resort to a string or ring that I add to attachment to keep the bag attached to bike.
You can get much sturdier, water resistant bags for the same price and cheaper if you shop smart. I did not unfortunately.
Lousy zipper Feb 28, 2010 I bought this at walmart. I put a 15mm wrench, 2 tubes, a patch kit and extra patches in it. I also put in print-out maps, gels, and shot-bloks in it as needed. After only a couple of months the zipper failed, and just won't work anymore.
On my bike for 2 yrs & still going strong Feb 23, 2010 I like this little bag. It only fits enough for a short ride but that's exactly what I'm looking for. It fits my wallet, keys, phone, small bag of grapes, small med kit and some napkins... oh! and lip gloss. I'm a serious packer so it does take quite a bit of stuffing and strategizing to get it all to work..
