No turning = fun for a few minutes May 07, 2010 We've had the Cheeky Chick for almost a year. It works OK as a walker and OK as a rider, but the same problem plagues both uses - it doesn't turn easily. My 2-year old is just now figuring out how to lift the front-end to turn it, though it is an awkward process. It gets used for maybe 5 minutes before the frustration causes it to be tossed aside. It doesn't teach much balance and doesn't really prep for a real bike.

Just okay Jan 20, 2010 I really wanted my daughter to love this toy! It's very cute, stable, and well-made, but it doesn't turn. I think the manufacturer needs to rethink the idea of the toy only moving in a straight line. So in the end, the toy only gets an okay from Mom and daughter. My suggestion is the Prince Lionheart Wheely Bug. We have one of those and it gets tons of mileage!!
Its great Jan 09, 2010 Xmas gift for grandchild she loves it. It will last along time and pass down to many kids. Great value.

Does not turn Jun 25, 2009 The Okiedog is a good toy, but should be for younger kids only. The wheels on the Okiedo do not turn/spin. As such, it is pretty difficult to do anything but go in a straight line, which limits the fun/flexibility of the toy. The instructions even indicate that a parent must pick up and move the rear wheel to turn the thing...we bought it for our 2-year old's bday, but are going to return it as he just goes five feet and gets stuck...not sure why they did not make it so it could actually turn...

"Happy" Birthday Oct 03, 2008 I purchased this for my one year old granddaughter. So far she mostly enjoys pushing it around as she is unable to reach the floor with her feet, but her four year old brother really likes it.
