2Not worth the price.  Jul 28, 2010
I bought this toy for my son for his sixth birthday. He loves it but for the money it costs I was a little disappointed. It is not very fast, thank goodness it came with training wheels because I don't know how a kid would be able to ride it without, it just doesn't go fast enough. He has had it for a little over a week and the stickers are already peeling off. If he didn't love it so much I would send it back. It cost too much to just be ok.

4It is a fun toy but should have more than two speeds and definitely should have an option for faster than 5mph  Jun 29, 2010
It was a fun birthday present for my 5 yo boy. However, it would have been more fun if it had more than two speeds and for an option to go faster than 5mph. It needs something like 8mph at least. I will try to install an additional parallel battery for it to increase the speed although this might burn the 2 motors but will make experiments with that.

4Looks good from 10 feet  Sep 04, 2009
Looks good from 10 feet away. Detailed enough that you think it is a real Ducati Monster. Very appealing for younger age groups for which it is intended. Had to be asembled, which took about an hour, perhaps a bit longer. Everything was plastic, and did not feel as if it will endure repeated rides. Over all it looked good, and my daughter was thrilled with it, so that is what counts.

5Great motorcycle, great cust support from Peg Perego  Jun 18, 2008
This is an awesome little motorcycle!!! Mom may be a little frightened at first because on the 2nd speed it moves pretty quick and the front wheel jumps off the ground when the throttle is turned. Be cautious of having bigger kids ride this bike because someone rode ours that was too big and cracked the front fork. However, I called Peg Perego and they shipped a new front fork out immediately and for no charge. Their customer support is outstanding!! Overall a great toy and my three year old loves it!!

3Customer service could be easier.  May 09, 2008
My son is enjoying the bike but it came with a big crack in the plastic engine. I called to see about getting a replacement part and I have to prove my purchase, take a photo of the piece that is cracked, and email them copies of everything, just to get them to ship me a new piece of plastic.
Why would I want a piece to something if I didn't buy it or it wasn't cracked? They can see by their records it was shipped to me within the last couple of days. I find this to be very irritating.
