5Topeak Road Morph G Bike pump  Jul 11, 2010
Excellent item, gets the job done quickly and effortlessly. For the price it's a very well made pump.

3Not Like My Father's Pump  Jul 03, 2010
I dented the tube of my previous version of the Road Morph with built-guage (several years old) and had to replace it. The newest version, sadly, doesn't appear to be as large or as well made. Although I can't do a side-by-side comparison, the newest version seems to take longer to pump up a tire. Finally, the mounting hardware on the older version allowed you to easily transfer the pump from one bike to the next - it was housed in a cradle secured by Velcro straps that was designed well. I pitched the newest storage system in the bottom of a drawer. Hopefully, I won't have to use it.

5Excellent pump!  Jun 14, 2010
I've been using one of these pumps for a couple of years and it works great. The hose and gauge make roadside repairs simple.

5My 2 cents  Jun 08, 2010
I'll keep it short so that I don't repeat much that has already been said.

If you want a frame-mounted pump, I don't think it gets much better than this. The inline gauge works pretty well, and I can get it over 110 psi with a little sweat after it gets past 90.

Came with screws (if replacing a water bottle holder) as well as straps to mount to the top tube instead, in addition to the velcro straps and plastic clips on the mount itself.

Instructions were admittedly sparse, but I trust that most people will either figure it out, or use one of the above reviews for guidance where necessary.

2poor overcomplicated design, barely acceptable quality  Jun 06, 2010
i have a road bike with presta valves that needs 100 psi. as others have mentioned you have to use the lever backwards to get it to seal on the valve and the seal is far from positive. the effort required to get to 100 psi is ridiculous. i had been weight lifting for 15 years and when i got to 90 psi i just said good enough. i can't imagine a woman using this pump to put 100 psi in her tires.

but that wasn't the worst of it, because then came the time to mount the pump onto the frame. it provided 2 options - using bottle cage bolts or using included zip ties on the top tube. the top tube location was touching my brake cable - yes it would have been still possible to operate the brake with the cable touching but to me that's not good enough. then i tried the bottle cage - the bolts would not go in as the holes in the mount were too small. i took out my trusty milwaukee drill and decided to enlarge the hole - in the process of that the plastic mount snapped in half.

i returned the road morph G to my local bike store and decided never to use topeak products again. i would have given it 1 star except that i DID fix my flat tire with it before i broke the mount. so it is not 100% worthless. with this product you pay for all of the gimmicks that you don't need ( like a folding foot ) and what you do need ( like a mount that FITS ) you do not get.
