More awesome than Chuck Norris Jan 01, 2010 This has to be the most fun thing I've played on in the last 5 years. If you can handle the regular, old-fashioned pogo sticks, you definitely need to try this thing. On the large size right when you step onto the pedals you're already over a foot off of the ground so when you bounce you get some good compression that will blast you into the sky. This stick also gives you a killer workout. I consider myself to be in pretty good shape and this thing gets me panting for air after just a few minutes of bouncing around.
The one thing I'd caution about is that it is indeed harder to use than it looks. If you watch videos of people doing stunts or anything, they make it look really easy. Just like any extreme sport, I doubt you'll be doing backflips on this thing the first day you get it.
Collest thing ive ever seen in my life Sep 19, 2009 This is by far the coolest thing i've ever owned. i can get about 5 feet of air on it pumped up all the way. It's a great workout too, i was winded after about 10 minutes. Unfortunately about 3 months after i bought it i hit a growth spurt and now its too small and busts me in the crotch alot, lol. i still use it though and i love it.

Vurtego V2 Pro Pogo Stick Jun 08, 2009 This item is very fun, but pretty dangerous, so use a helmet. The first day my brother smashed his head on the cement. If you're looking for a pogo stick to do tricks on, then this is most likely not for you. It is very tiring since you are using muscle power instead of body weight to force the pogo stick down. Jumping on this thing for 15 minutes a day will really build your quads. It takes a while to get the hang of it but it is very fun and you can jump really high.

Incredible Cardiovascular Fitness Tool Mar 31, 2009 I bought the vurtego V2 pogo stick on a whim after seeing it on David Letterman, having no idea that it would turn out to be such an amazing tool. It takes about the same amount of effort as jump roping at a medium pace, and helps tunes my balance, core strength, and timing in a different way, making it a fantastic cross-training tool. In addition, it's incredibly enjoyable.
I've been running, weightlifting, and practicing Western boxing and Muay Thai for many years. Maintaining a strong cardiovascular and respiratory system is one of the most essential aspects of any serious fitness regimen designed for these sports. I generally use jump roping and stair running as my two most intense workout options...now I have a third
