Nice bike trailer but thoroughly check it when it arrives Feb 28, 2010 Our son enjoys the WeeRider. We have only used it on short rides and it is attached to my husband's bike. He said it took some adjusting on his part to have the weight of the trailer and my son attached behind. The trailer itself is very sturdy and we find that it takes two of us to attach it to the bike because it's fairly heavy. Once attached though, we have had no problems.
The one side note I have is that the first WeeRide sent to us was clearly a return from another customer. The box was ripped in several spots and the trailer was just tossed in the box. It was missing parts and we immediately returned it with no problems.
Best Thing I've Purchase In Awhile! Feb 28, 2010 This product is simply great! I purchased the Co-Pilot at the local Academy for $75 and was a bit concerned about it's usefulness, however it has proved to be a great purchase! My daughter is 6 1/2 and she was so incredibly excited to ride it...I must say we had no dissapointments! Thanks Weeride for making it a fun weekend!
great family toy Feb 23, 2010 it works as advertised, it makes the family goes together on bike trips, short (to Starbucks) or long.
and in my book, that makes it worthwhile.
great product. no complaint.
Missing seat was shipped in 2 weeks Dec 05, 2009 Once we received the missing seat in the mail we are very happy with the bike! We paid the extra for faster shipping, received it the day before our city bike parade... my husband was a little upset when he was putting it together and the seat was not in the box! Lucky for us, we took a seat off an old bike and it worked until we received the new seat 2 weeks later. I just had to send Kent the email receipt from Amazon as a proof of purchase.
You get what you pay for...don't go cheap on this! Dec 02, 2009 We were all set for our bike ride...we made it about 1 mile, if that, and the WeeRide wheel froze up---wouldn't budge....we were stranded unless my daughter and I wanted to walk and drag the tire all the way home which would have ruined the tire and at that point I didn't know what was wrong so I decided against that. Fortunately a police man happened to be driving by and had to give us a ride home...so much for the bikeride and picnic my daughter was soo excited about.
Turned out, per our local bike repair shop, that there was a factory defect with the wheel. The sprocket on the wheel was cross threaded-- which relative to the cost of the bike, was a costly repair.
Had to return the bike. My recommendation: Don't go cheap- you get poor quality!
